In my Head

do you still live with your parents?

Yes I do by choice. People struggle finding housing in San Francisco already, why move out of one of the best districts? For freedom? Unlike most, I’ve come home to an empty house ever since middle school. I’ve always been independent, but besides that point I just like being near/close to my family. My only complaint is that my bedroom and workspace is together, leading me to sleepless nights. I wish I could have two separate rooms, but not complaining. As for rent, utilities, property tax, etc.. I pay my share, so it’s basically MORE than rent.

do you have any religious affiliations?

At one point my family was Buddhist, but my mom and sister converted to Christianity. I myself, believe in a higher power, I wouldn’t say that’s “god.” For example, Earth is just too perfect to happen out of no where. Any slight imbalance in our atmosphere and we either burn or freeze to death. Albert Einstein mentioned, “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.” I agree, there are too many variables that can’t be explained fully on each side, together they compliment each other well.

I took your advice back in august and bought zagg instead of ffiv and I couldve been making a lot more money if i went with my own guts :(

Hindsight is 20/20. Couple things you should know if no one has ever told you. First off, never follow - stick to your comfort level in your investments. If you’re steadily making 5% on stocks and know someone that is making 10%+.. sure you should ask for advice, but don’t blindly follow. If you know stocks well enough, it isn’t a simple buy and sell factor. I day traded Zagg stocks, making 5-10% a day at times for weeks. Why? Because I know the fluctuations after watching them for months. You could of made more off of FFIV, well there are hundreds of stocks better, so anyone could of said that. Don’t play the blame game, you make your own executions. I don’t need to say more, but this should be a learning lesson for you.

what kinds of investments do you have at the moment and what else are you looking to get into?

I’m not using this as an excuse, but I am only 22 and still learning. I’m at stage where I’m experimenting and testing my boundaries. I won’t go into details, but I have stocks, real estate, a startup, and collectibles.

where is a place you would go a lot when you need time to yourself?

I use to just lock myself in my room, but given that’s my workspace now.. I like to chill on the beach or on cliffs that have a nice landscape view. The sunrise and sunset are very calming for me, it allows me to just defer my mindset to something more relaxing.

How often do you remember your dreams?

Hmmm, I would say I remember my dreams when I wake up, but throughout the day I forget them. I only recall the dreams involving my family or close friends longer than a short period of time. For example, when my girlfriend was a Vietnamese cafe girl serving coffee with nothing more than body paint on.. that freaked me the efff out. I still mention that to her once in awhile HAHA.

Is your life more comedy or drama?

Hmm, life isn’t two dimensional as you are making it seem. I do have “drama” but my drama isn’t because he said something she said etc etc. I would classify my drama as lack of communication. Nowadays, I barely have time to upkeep my workout, let along eat and sleep correctly. I would NOT waste time on immature BS you’d expect to see end in middle school.

As for comedy? Sure, my life is full of humor. I love just chilling with my homies and we always have a good time. We don’t even need to go to bars, nowadays we buy a couple 20 packs and just chill.

do you find saying good bye a hard thing to do?

I’ve only been in a situation a few times where a bye/farewell/closure was needed. I can honestly say it’s tough and painful, but at the same time you need to understand the reasons. For example, I had friends/family move abroad and I knew it would be hard to keep in contact with them as much anymore. I respected their decision to move far away as they needed it. Typically, I never say goodbye even in conversations. I usually let them the other person say it and hangup, or just say “cya later.” I don’t know why, it’s just my habit. If my sole job was to maintain my friendships and keep in touch with everyone, I’d be darn good at it as I am with all my jobs. However, it’s not possible to be the best friend you can to every one you know.

where is your favorite place to travel and why?

To me I care more about who I’m with rather than where I’m going. I don’t think I can enjoy myself completely without being with the ones I love. With that said, I enjoy road trips anywhere, traveling abroad (Thailand), and going to Disneyland!
